My story

A HOUSE LIKE NO OTHER

I was born in 1932 in Ermenonville, a village steeped in history and stories. People came and went until Mme. Treillou and her family settled here. Her love of flowers and her caring concern for the well-being of others still seem to float in the air of Ermenonville.
Life has presented her with its fair share of challenges, and the villagers certainly know it! Since her last journey in 2009, her spirit remains palpable in the village: the trees whisper her name, the flowers bloom in her honor, and the squirrels frolic gratefully through the hazel trees, a silent celebration of abundance and life.
It was she who whispered to me the names of the Flemish family who came here to walk along the Sentier des écrivains in 2017. To this day, it remains a mystery to them why this place called them – but I know: her presence, gentle and full of care, showed them the way.

Hilde

Tous chemins sont bons, pourvu qu’on arrive
Jean-Jacques Rousseau

As a general practitioner, Hilde feels privileged to gather stories about illness and health. Curious and searching, she creates her own dreams and paths, turning every encounter into a small celebration.

The mystery of life led her to a home she wasn't looking for, but which she found anyway. In this warm place in Ermenonville, she invites people to connect with their stories and discover new meaning in them. Thus, it became their shared calling to make this place a safe haven, where connection and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Caring in the background

Bob

Le monde de la réalité a ses limites, le monde de l’imagination est sans
Jean-Jacques Rousseau

As an early osteopath, Bob followed the body's whispers from an early age, searching for the connection between pain and healing. With a similar sense of wonder, he ventured into nature, and on a rainy day, "chance" led him and his family to Ermenonville, along the "Sentier des écrivains" hiking trail.

Care runs through Bob's veins: for his children, his patients, his wife. With gentle attention, he prepares meals, tends the garden, and lovingly maintains an invisible thread that connects everything. With a quiet, natural dedication, he watches over the well-being of others.
